It was when I received a custom bracelet from my brother-in-law a few Christmases ago that my passion began to surface. It was such a unique and personal gift that he had given not only to me, but to his wife and two daughters as well. Needless to say, his original gifts were the envy of all gifts that year. Not much time had passed when I finally gave into that passion and set out to master this beautiful art myself. I was taken by the beautiful glass lampwork bead designs that were created by other artists, but I wanted my pieces to include more of me. In an effort to individualize my own line of jewelry, I took my designs to the next level by studying the art of lampworking*, pushing the envelope of my imagination and creativity. Before I knew it, I had a large number of beautiful bracelets completed and what began as an artistic and creative hobby, turned into a dream. Wear in good health, Johnna M. Snell

*This skillful process involves the use of an oxygen/propane torch and rods of Moretti glass, imported from Italy, to create beautiful beads of varying sizes, shapes and colors. The beads are then kiln annealed (a process of heating up the bead and allowing it to cool very slowly according to the properties of the glass being used) for durability.
